Project Overview

The eKP System addresses gaps in healthcare services for Key Populations (sex workers, MSM, PWID, transgender individuals) by providing secure, centralized tracking while maintaining client confidentiality. It solves challenges of duplicated records and fragmented care pathways through unique anonymous identification.

Project Scope

Development included: 1) Unique identifier management system, 2) Centralized M&E portal, 3) Multi-partner integration framework, 4) Confidential client tracking mechanisms, 5) Robust data security protocols tailored for sensitive KP health information.

Key Outcomes

  • Enabled accurate anonymous tracking of KP clients across multiple facilities
  • Reduced duplicate records and improved treatment history accuracy
  • Enhanced care continuity while maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Integrated 5 CDC-supported partners across 15 Drop-In Centers
  • Provided real-time data aggregation for national reporting
